Freebies, Whatnots & Groups
This is my place for things that I can't work out where else to put.
I just want shout out about Jenny Brandis’ new web page on reading a Torchon lace pattern.
It is fab. No other way to put it. If you are new to lace making (or not) she goes through each part and explains it. One of the difficulties in trying to look up help on lacemaking, when you are new, is that if you don’t know what the bit is called, how do you search for it? This is definitely a page to bookmark. Mind you, so is every page on Jenny’s website. |
'Little Fishes
Alex Stillwell has some beautiful books that she has written on her site but one of her free resources is for little fishes. Great to use for 'have a go' pillows or as something to do after Christine Springett's snake for beginners. Scroll down on Alex's free help files page to find the fishes download pdf. |
Jo Edkins
Jo is a wonderful person who has created her own online lace school. She has also created some great resources for kindle that are available from Amazon. |
